In 2004, for the first time, the exhibition took place in the northern capital of Russia and today is one of the biggest exhibitions of international education in the north-western region of the country.
The main aims for all exhibitions remain the same – to give Russians first-hand information on alternatives for studying around the world and to provide new recruitment opportunities for foreign education institutions throughout Russia. In October, an additional, special emphasis is usually given to the theme “Destination Europe” while in February “Study in Canada”. At the same time, all exhibitions are open to all institutions and organizations fr om around the world. In 2009 / 2010 alone, institutions of education fr om Australia, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, The Netherlands, North Cyprus, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK, USA, etc participated in the International Education Fair in Russia. EXHIBITIONS ORGANISERInteruniversity Centre for International Educational Programmes (ICIEP) in co-operation with StudyAbroad.ru - Centre GRINT. ICIEP was founded in 1993 and is not only known as an organizer for Russian universities abroad in over 28 countries around the world but also right here in Russia in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and other cities. The campaign consists of: press, radio and Internet advertising, distribution of a wide range of supporting printed materials varying from posters to invitations, physical mail to thousands of individuals in government bodies of education, state and private institutions of higher education, secondary schools, public sector organizations, etc. We also advertise using high profile posters in the underground and on the streets. |
